Since October 2002, I have been the owner of Bagwell Designs, LLC, a graphic design and communication business. My “Simple Hat with a Twist” knitting pattern was published in “Stitch ‘n Bitch Page-A-Day Calendar 2008.” In the summer of 2009, I developed a make-and-take art project and taught it to children in the community through the Arts for Kids program by the Boise City Department of Arts and History.

From April 2013 through October 2017, under Bagwell Designs, I held the position of Contract Communication Manager with Crane Creek Country Club in Boise, Idaho. I met the graphic design and communication needs of nine departments and various membership committees. In 2014, I conducted the club’s first communication survey. I improved the metric averages on their email list of approximately 1,000 contacts as follows:
•  Open rate from 45% to 55%
•  Click rate from 4% to 20%
•  Bounce rate from 7% to 0.3%

I have a Master of Science degree in Public Communication through Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Fine Arts with High Honors in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York.

I am a longtime finance volunteer for Alpha Sigma Alpha National Sorority, and currently serve as a Regional Finance Leader. In this role since August 2016, I assist treasurers and financial advisors representing seven collegiate chapters in four states with financial management and fundraising. In March 2018, I became an advisory board member for the James and Jean Culver Vision Discovery Institute.
